Maytree Multimedia is an independently run, creative media company that offers affordable digital video solutions to individuals and small organizations. The company was founded in the summer of 2008 in response to the growing demand for small scale, video production services. Much of the work we do focuses on helping non-profits and small businesses expand their promotional material to include digital video at a reasonable cost.

Maytree has formed longstanding relationships with a wide pool of freelance digital artists and IT professionals in the Philadelphia area. Depending on your needs, we work closely with the right team to deliver outstanding services and video content at reasonable rates.

WHO WE ARE

Dede Maitre is Maytree’s Owner and Creative Director. She received a Master in Fine Arts in Film & Media Arts from Temple University in 2005. With over fifteen years of both commercial and educational video producing and editing experience, Maitre’s independent work as a filmmaker has taken her from San Francisco to Haiti for production and post-production projects. In addition, Dede has worked as an IT professional in both Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.

Caroline May is Maytree’s Research Coordinator. She has worked as a professional researcher in Washington D.C and New York City. She has a Master of Education from the University of Maryland, College Park. Her research focuses on visual and online learning in the areas of reading and writing for children aged 5 through 18. Caroline focuses much of her work on developing our independent, web-based children’s writing project.
